Tú, usted, and the letter

A note to a friend is tú: hola, ¿puedes…?, un abrazo. A letter to a company or an unknown person is usted: estimado, le escribo, atentamente. Mixing them in one text is a register error, and DELE writing marks it.

Estimado señor: ¿puedes enviarme la factura? Un abrazo.

Estimado señor: ¿Podría enviarme la factura? Atentamente.
